Quilts for Moi!

Finally, I have made quilts for myself! They still need binding, but I decided to enlist the help of dear hubby and younger son (before he takes off) to hold up the quilts.  The first one is a 30’s style, and the second one is a Kaffe Fasset.  They are both queen size, and therefore held sideways:

  1. So beautiful. Such a wonderful labor of love. A handsome model too.

  2. Wow, they both are gorgeous! It’s good to make something for yourself every once in a while. I like the feet sticking out below quilt #2.

  3. These two quilts are just breathtaking! I love them both. I have always loved Kaffe Fasset’s fabrics and quilts. I have some of his fabric and a quilt that I started on years ago. You have given me inspiration to pull it out again and see if I can figure it out. It is a paper piecing project. Maybe as soon as I finish the Quilty Barn Along-I am so behind on that one. Happy sewing, Holly
