The diva has challenged us with a Halloween themed tangle. Since today is Halloween, I whipped up a quick tangle, and here it is:

Happy Halloween Everyone! I made a frame out of my artwork combined with PSE shapes. I think I’ve made some improvements in my digital skills since last Halloween. Koko is still playing the witch :-):
Have fun & stay safe!
Wow, I completely forgot about my monthly garden post for September. The weather was so hot that I literally did not go out in my garden for the month of September – out of sight, out of mind I guess. So, I am combining the two months. I am featuring my front grove. The valencia oranges are ripe and ready for picking, they are very nice for juicing. Most of our valencias are the original trees planted nearly a hundred years ago. They are supposed to be one of the sweeter, better tasting kinds around:
And here are some Gold Nuggets that I planted – they will be ready in spring:
And, just thought I’d share, here is a photo of the Red Yucca pods. They are one of my favorite plants in my garden. When they are in bloom, the hummingbirds always make an appearance:
This week’s assignment was to draw a landscape. I decided to post the chalk drawings that I did of our local orange groves with the badlands as backdrop:
I have been having fun and learning new things being part of the NDISB CT, as I have the opportunity to work with many different designers. This time, I worked with Helena Jole. Helena does a lot of S4H, and also has some sweet kits like Blue Bird Mini that I made a layout with:

Here is the second layout I made from Parisian Daydreams Kit by Tricia Curtis Designs. You can find the kit at NDISB:

Our challenge for this week from the Diva was to use the new tangel Punzel. At first I found it a bit difficult to draw but after a few tries, I think it came out ok:
I was recently invited to join the Creative Team (CT) over at Natural Designs In Scrapbooking (NDISB). My first designer I got to work with was Tricia of Tricia Curtis Designs. Tricia has a wonderfully unique style, and I chose to “play” with her “Parisian Daydreams” Kit. Tricia has a fondness for everything French, and I (very long ago) lived and worked in Paris. Here is Parisian Daydreams:

Stop by in a couple of days for the second QP freebie.
This week, the Diva challenged us to draw one tangle and tangle on the inside of the one tangle. I started with “Zenplosion Folds” by Daniele Obrien, and went from there:
For this weeks student’s choice, I decided to do the Scribble Drawing:
If you can’t tell, it’s a silver wolf.
Here is a lampwork bead pendant I made. A tiny crow dangling above a pumpkin. Are you in the mood for Halloween yet?:
