It’s the Button Swap Reveal today!!! Hosted by Cindy Wimmer of Sweet Bead Studio. I was lucky enough to be partnered with the very talented Patty Gasparino. And here are the beautiful vintage picture buttons and mother of pearl buttons Patty sent me. She even included a couple of beautiful handmade buttons by Kristi Bowman:
And here is a bracelet I made. I used peyote stitch to make the base of the bracelet, and sewed the buttons and embellishments on:

Thank you Cindy for a fun Button Swap!
Beautiful pieces! The earrings are my favorite!
Love what you sent me Linda – Thank You so much for the goodies! Love what you did especially with Kristi’s buttons – beautiful earrings! Happy Hopping!
I love the assortment Patty sent. You two were a great pair. I love the earrings you made the best. i like the pairing of the MOP with the metal. Beautiful!
The earrings — I actually gasped at those mother of pearl earrings (I collect those above all other buttons now). EXCELLENT!
Beautiful bead weaving, I am in awe of this kind of work!
Your earrings are absolutely beautiful! Love how you designed them! I’m so jealous of your bracelet, because that was what I had in mind for mine, but my beads didn’t! 🙂
beautiful designs – just lovely
Isn’t Patty an awesome swap partner!? 🙂
Anyway. . .your bracelet turned out very nice indeed and those earrings are divine!! Wonderful job working with the buttons!
Linda, I knew I would be in for a treat when I saw what you made with your buttons! Looks like Patty sent you a really great stash of vintage buttons! Your peyote bracelet is out-of-this-world amazing! I am so in awe of your work (and do you ever do a variety of things well, from lampwork to sewing!). I love how you also stitched the buttons on to the bracelet, giving it additional visual interest and dimension. Thanks for participating, Linda!
Linda, looooooove what you did. Can’t decide what I love more the bracelet or the earrings – both are really cool pieces with a great vibe!
Wow… the bracelet is beautiful, for sure, but I’m especially drawn to those earrings. Absolutely stunning work, and simply lovely buttons!!! Thank you for sharing with us, it was great to see what you made for this swap/challenge/hop ❤
Wow, what a lot of work in that bracelet. But it’s gorgeous. And I like the earrings, too. Very nice pieces.
